Montessoridays™ Kids Wooden Cleaning Set

🧹 “I can help with that!”

The Montessoridays™ Kids Wooden Cleaning Set gives a willing little helper tools of their own. A broom, mop, duster, dustpan, two brushes and cloth join an organising stand, turning an everyday household routine into something a child can take part in alongside you.

Montessoridays™ Kids Wooden Cleaning Set — play and product details

🖐️ Choose one small, achievable job.

Show how to sweep a few dry crumbs towards the dustpan or dust an appropriate low surface. A clear area and a small task make the movement easier to understand than an instruction to clean the whole room. Let the child repeat the action before stepping in.

🏡 Real routines can inspire pretend ones.

The set can join supervised tidying or become the cleaning crew for an imaginary house. Longer broom and mop handles and an angled broom design give the tools a familiar look. Use them in ways suited to their size and your child's ability.

🤝 Helping can be about belonging.

Work nearby and notice the contribution: a corner swept or a tool returned to its place. The activity is not about achieving an adult standard of cleanliness. It gives a child a manageable role in caring for the space the family shares.

🧺 A home for every tool.

The organising stand provides a clear finish when the job is done. The wooden components use solid beech, and the set is intended for ages three and up, with the design described for ages three to eight. An adult should assemble the stand with the supplied hardware and supervise use; keep cleaning chemicals outside the play activity.

Why Buy Montessori?

🧹 A movement has an everyday purpose.

Sweeping or dusting connects hand control with a visible household task. Choose a real, manageable job and show the movement slowly. Letting the child help with an appropriate task makes participation meaningful: the crumbs or dust actually have somewhere to go. You can finish together and return the tools to their stand.

🌱 Small jobs make participation manageable.

One suitable area gives the child a clear beginning and finish. A child can contribute alongside an adult.

💛 Effort can be recognised specifically.

Notice the part completed rather than demanding a perfectly clean room. Returning tools to the stand completes the activity. Choose a small real task and demonstrate where the swept material should go. The dustpan gives the movement a destination, making helping more understandable than a broad request to clean. Allow time for the child to contribute before finishing together.
Why Kids Love It?

🧹 They have equipment of their own.

Familiar cleaning tools invite imitation. They get to join in with a job they see grown-ups doing. A little sweep can make a visible difference, and putting the tool away finishes their work.

🏡 They can join what you are doing.

A small shared job feels meaningful. They can choose between sweeping, brushing and dusting tasks.

💛 Their help can be seen.

A cleared little area gives them something to show. Their tools can join yours for a job that matters to the household. Sweeping a small area and returning the tools to the stand gives them both a useful role and a clear finish.

Love love love

My toddler LOVES his cleaning set! It's so easy to assemble. The broom, mop, and stand come in 2 pieces and you just screw them together with your hands. You don't even need tools! So far they've been very durable. My toddler bangs them off every surface in the house and their still going strong for us. I highly recommend this cleaning set ❤️

So far it's for Mama but super cute

I hope my daughter will use this when she's a little older! The duster and dustpan have been used so far. The dust pan is a little thin and bent (feels cheap) so doesn't actually get enough contact with the floor to brush the dust into it. Otherwise I'm happy with it.

Wrestler's Beware! LOL

My nephew loves to clean! I purchased this for his birthday. He loves it! His older brother loves wrestling and used the base as "barbells" to get big and strong! LOL. Just be careful if you aren't expecting it off the ground! The wood hurts!! LOL

Screws

Grandchild loves it. When assembling it I found that it wasn’t quite right. The screws weren’t in the right places and some were missing. Was able to make it eight with some wood glue. Still does what it needs to do- make the child happy!!

STURDY AND CUTE

My 1.5 year old grand daughter loves this. It's sitting in my kitchen and she comes over and just grabs a piece and starts cleaning. It's very sturdy - I was reluctant! Easy assemble and super cute!

Very cute cleaning set

I must've gotten a good set because mine is sturdy and no missing pieces. My 2 year old LOVES it and feels so helpful getting to clean on his own. My only issue is, the vacuum doesn't really work. I think I had pretty high expectations for what really is a child's toy. So we'll be okay with pretending it works.

10/10 toddler gift

Phenomenal dupe for the Melissa & Doug cleaning set toy. All the pieces there are able to be used, and pretty sturdy wood. Mop is able to be twisted at the middle of the wooden handle to shorten the mop, which works awesome for littler tots (1-3yrs). My child enjoys sweeping with the little broom and dustpan, dusting with the duster, and then putting it all away.

Actually works!

Gifted this to my little one for her birthday and she loved it! And so did all the kids at her bday party. They were all cleaning and the toys actually work. She has been cleaning around with it. The quality of everything is good, the only thing is that the vacuum doesn’t really vacuums but is good for pretending. She still tries to vacuum small objects with it. I give this purchase a 9/10

Sturdy enough for light cleaning

Bought this for my 11 month old because he loves "helping" me clean. Comes with all of the pieces, easily assembles (just some twisting and one screw) no major tools necessary. Happy with my purchase. I will be teaching him to use to keep his play area clean. Start them young :)

Easy to put together, my baby loves it.

My toddler loved this and will often use it! He sees me cleaning and will reach for the broom or swifter looking one. If you want your toddler to feel included while you clean, definitely get this! I also gifted one to my nephew and he loves it as well. My baby is 20 months and got it when he was about a year and a half. My nephew is 2 and loves it as well.

Got this from my niece, who loves to help mom clean...

A little flimsy

It is a cute play set but its very easy for the broom to become untwisted making it very loose at times. Other than that is is a fun set to have as my son enjoys it, I just wish there was more sturdiness for the connecting parts on the broom.
