Montessoridays™ Visual Routine for Toddlers

🎨 A little picture can show what comes next.

The Montessoridays™ Visual Routine for Toddlers brings seventy illustrated routine cards to a felt display board. Brushing, story time and other everyday activities become pictures you can arrange together, giving a daily sequence something your child can look at and discuss.

🖐️ Start with a short part of the day.

Choose a few relevant cards rather than displaying all seventy. Show the order and talk through what each picture means. A small, familiar sequence can be easier to use than a full-day plan introduced at once.

👀 Make the next step visible.

Place the board where it can be seen appropriately, either on a wall with adult setup or in its tabletop format. Refer to the picture when it is time for an activity and give your child room to point, name or help identify the next card.

💬 Let the cards support a conversation.

A visual routine does not need to be a rigid set of demands. Talk about a change, choose between appropriate activities or explain why something comes later. The illustrations and text provide a shared reference when words alone feel too abstract.

💛 Build a routine with help nearby.

Recommended for ages three and up, the set combines soft felt with coated cards for repeated use. An adult selects a realistic sequence and remains available to help complete the tasks. Let your child take a small role in choosing or reviewing the cards, and use the display as a friendly reminder of what your day holds.

Why Buy Montessori?

👀 A sequence becomes visible.

Pictures give the child a concrete reference for what happens next. Build a short sequence around a routine your family already uses. Looking at the next picture gives your child something concrete to refer to, while moving through the steps together leaves room for encouragement. The board supports a conversation, not a demand for a perfect day.

💬 Shared cues support explanation.

An adult and child can point to the same activity while discussing the plan. Choosing an appropriate card or reviewing the next step gives the child a role.

🔄 A changed plan can be shown.

Moving a card offers a way to explain an adjustment to the day. The display works alongside adult help, not as a replacement for it. Arrange a short sequence that reflects the day you are actually having. Refer to the next picture together instead of treating the board as a demand for perfect compliance. Moving or discussing a card can help explain a change in the plan.
Why Kids Love It?

🎨 Familiar activities appear in pictures.

The illustrations give the routine something to recognise. They can see what comes next instead of having to remember a whole list. Recognising a finished step gives an everyday routine a small moment of achievement.

🖐️ They can help choose or point to a card.

A small action makes the plan more participatory. The board provides a reference to return to.

💛 They can talk through the day with you.

A shared plan creates another moment of connection. A picture makes the next familiar activity something they can point to. Helping choose or arrange the relevant cards gives them a small role in talking through the day with a grown-up.

Very Helpful, Wish It Had More Customization

We love this product, and it really helps keep my daughter on track. I just wish there were a few blank cards we could personalize.

Makes Routines Less Stressful

No more constant reminders! My 4-year-old now checks the board herself. One star off because the hanging strip could be stronger.

Exactly What We Needed

My son has ADHD and this chart helps him stay focused and know what to expect. The cards are sturdy, and the felt board sticks well to the wall.

Works Well but Could Use a Travel Version

It’s a great tool at home, but I’d love a compact version we could take to grandma’s house or daycare.

It’s Okay, But Too Basic for Older Kids

This would be perfect for toddlers, but my 6-year-old outgrew it quickly. Still giving 3 stars because it’s a good product—just not for our needs anymore.

Love It – Just Add More Chore Options

Would’ve loved a few more cards related to chores like feeding pets or folding laundry, but overall, very happy with the purchase.
