Montessoridays™ Wooden Number Train Set

🚂 All aboard the counting train!

Where is number three travelling today? With the Montessoridays™ Wooden Number Train Set, counting gets wheels, magnetic connections and a destination your child gets to invent. An engine and ten numbered cars bring 0–9 into hands-on play, turning a line of numbers into a train that can be connected, rearranged and sent off on another adventure.

🔢 Build a little line of discoveries.

Lay out a few cars and start with the numbers your child notices. Connect them in order, look for a missing number or count each carriage as it joins the train. There is no need to introduce all ten at once: a short train gives younger players something manageable to explore while you add the number words to the action.

🧲 Connect it. Change it. Try again.

The magnetic connectors invite children to line the cars up and discover how they join. Removable number pieces add another layer of play: lift a number off, explore its shape and return it to the train. A child can enjoy these movements before they are ready to name every numeral—hands-on discovery comes first.

🛤️ Let the train join their imaginary world.

Create a station beside a cushion, pick up pretend passengers or take a slow journey across the play space. The set is described as fitting most major wooden train tracks, so it may join an existing railway; check your particular track system before purchase. Tracks are not listed among the included pieces.

💛 Count together, then follow their story.

Try a tiny invitation: 'Can this carriage visit the station next?' Your child might sort the cars carefully or invent a completely different journey. Either way, you have a simple opening for conversation, turn-taking and shared play. Stay close during use: the set includes removable pieces and magnetic parts, and adult supervision matters.
