Montessoridays™ Toss and Catch Ball Set
🥎 A little toss. A big 'I caught it!'
Learning catch can involve plenty of missed balls—and plenty of new attempts. The Montessoridays™ Toss and Catch Ball Set gives beginners a helpful place to aim: a hook-and-loop paddle that catches the ball when it meets the surface. With two paddles and one ball, you have a simple invitation to step outside, face each other and start a game.
🎯 Start close and let confidence set the distance.
Begin with gentle throws from a short distance. Help your child hold the paddle ready, watch the approaching ball and move towards it. When it sticks, pause for the smile before peeling it off for the return throw. Misses are part of the game too: move closer, make the next toss softer and try again.
🖐️ More to do than throw and catch.
Peeling the ball away, holding the paddle and aiming a return each involve different movements. Take turns demonstrating a gentle throw, then let your child find a rhythm. You can count shared catches, invent a tiny challenge or simply keep passing until someone starts laughing. There is no scoreboard required.
🌳 Bring a game to the next family outing.
The lightweight ABS paddles make an easy companion for garden play or a trip to the park. Choose a clear space away from roads, water and other people, and use a distance that suits the players. Children and grown-ups can join the same game by adjusting the throw rather than needing exactly the same skill level.
💛 Give them someone to throw to.
Sometimes the most inviting part of a toy is your readiness to play. A few back-and-forth throws can become a cheerful pause in the day: eyes following the ball, hands reaching and a shared celebration when a tricky catch lands. Keep the pace friendly, let your child suggest the next challenge and enjoy one more round together.

Small enough to toss in the beach bag or the car.
Great for keeping my kids active and outside without a screen in sight.
This is our second set, one for ourselves and one for a gift. Great for any age and easy to keep together in the storage bag. Simple game you can take anywhere!

My daughter carries the storage bag everywhere, doesn't want to leave it home.
This toss and catch game has been a lot of fun. Super easy to play and great for getting kids outside and moving around. The paddles have a strong grip so the ball sticks well, which makes it easy for younger kids to enjoy without getting frustrated.
Works exactly as described, my daughter loves catching without dropping it.
My grandkids ask for this every time they come over.
No signs of the velcro wearing out yet after weeks of use.
Worth every penny for how much use it's gotten already.
