Montessoridays™ Sensory Sorting Cube

🧩 In they go—and how will they come back out?

The Montessoridays™ Sensory Sorting Cube combines an elastic-sided cube with six textured blocks and two balls. Children can explore placing the pieces inside and retrieving them, giving a simple container game a tactile and spatial challenge.

🖐️ Begin with one piece and one opening.

Show a gentle movement through the elastic bands, then let your child try with support as needed. A piece that does not pass easily invites a change of angle or another opening. Keep the action comfortable rather than forcing the bands.

👀 The piece is still there, waiting to be reached.

Once a block is inside, look at where it rests and explore how to take it out. The cube provides a visible space for the child to investigate. Filling and emptying can remain the whole game for a satisfying session.

🌈 Textures add another reason to look closely.

The blocks and balls have different surfaces for hands to compare. You can name a colour or describe a bumpy detail while the child handles an appropriate piece. Let their interest decide when to return to putting it into the cube.

💛 Keep the collection ready for another attempt.

The plastic set is intended for ages one and up and requires close supervision. Check the elastic bands and all pieces regularly, follow the supplied directions and gather the six blocks and two balls after play. The next session can begin with the same familiar in-and-out discovery.
