Why did you pick this product vs others?:
I chose this item because the price was Lower than some of the others. My grandkids (5, 6, 9, and 11 LOVE these. They are easy to use and come out really cute! They spend hours working on these.

This is a great first sewing activity for my great-granddaughters. They are in the third and fifth grade. The directions are easy to follow and the animals are cute.

Bought for my 9 year old granddaughter. She loves this set. Great quality.

Has everything you need for basic little kid crafts and to keep the kids entertained. I wish it had more stuffing though

Only drawback we had a really hard time peeling the paper off the stickers!!! Hopefully, the next set I buy the stickers will come apart from the paper easier!!

Update: The company reached out to me when they saw my review regarding missing kit components. They not only refunded the price of the kit, but sent me another and this time all pieces were included. The pieces of the kit that are meant to stick to the animal bodies instead of being seen don't always stuck very well, but they can be embroidered on. Otherwise, my daughter has really enjoyed making her farm animals!
The kit arrived on time and intact. However, when my daughter opened it this morning to get started it is missing the scissors, needles,and embroidery floss. Very disappointing.

Perfect for my 9 year old who loves have sewing. She has enjoyed the creation of little animals and enjoyed gifting them to siblings. The felt is durable and the thread is strong.

I bought this for my 9 year old Granddaughter for Christmas! She's a very energetic little girl, and I wanted to get her something that she could just sit and relax with! She's made several of these already, and told me out of about 7 presents, this was her favorite! It's fun, and educational, by letting them experience sewing, in a completely safe manner!!!

My 5 year old twins loved these. We did struggle with the adhesive on the things that attach but they still enjoyed the sewing part.

The only issue we had was when you went to peel the white paper from the stick on items, the sticky glue part would come off with the white paper. We would have to use other forms of glue to attach the eyes or ears effected.

Gave this to my 8 year old granddaughter who started to learn how to sew in Brownies. She was so excited and within a few days she said she had already made several of the animals.

Has everything you need for your little dudes to make their own stuffies. Great for beginners, a bit boring for those who are more advanced. Everything is included. Stickers were a pain in the butt to use though. My kids were unable to pull them off without my help, which was a disappointment. Other than that hiccup we enjoyed.

I got this as a different type of craft activity for my kids to do. They enjoyed it, I think the age range of 6+ is perfect. Although my 5 year old did very well and was even able to follow the instructions from the instruction booklet really well. The only reason I took away a star was because the sticky pieces of felt that you attach to the animals, are a great idea, but it is really difficult to pull the backing of the sticky side off of the sticky stuff, without also removing the sticky stuff from the felt. My kids really struggled to remove the backing on their own and ruined a couple pieces. I even struggled as well and would have to stop the sticky stuff from coming off with the backing on each piece.

I expected my girls to enjoy this but they LOVE it! It is such a fun and age appropriate way for them to start learning to sew. They have been so excited about their projects. I am so happy with this kit!

Perfect beginner sewing kit for a young one. This includes all that you need including scissors and thread and lots of cute animal cut-outs. My little ones loved it. Perfect for ages 5 years and up.

I adore these sets, they are so easy to put together. The directions are easy to comprehend all the materials are included. They are fantastic projects for the residents at my nursing home, a great way to keep them entertained and their hand eye motor coordination working. Definitely recommend them.

It's a good way to teach elementary school age kids to sew and to make simple craft projects. The needles, scissors, etc are safe to use, unlike adult scissors and needles Our 8 year old granddaughter has enjoyed the kit very much.

I think learning how to sew is such an important life skill that most people aren’t learning these days. I got these for my kids to start practicing and they are excited. These will also work their fine motor skills which is also important. This is a nice quality set with cute designs. Definitely great for beginners and small fingers!
