At first my 2 yr old grandson had to learn to match the shapes and colored egg halves to put them together. He learned so quickly and had fun doing it over and over and over…. Putting the eggs together and then in the chicken. This gives hours of play time, we made up games with the eggs and the chicken. Putting the shapes and colors together is good for their memory!! I gave this to my grandchildren, ages 2 and 5. They enjoyed it, and it held their attention spans longer than I had expected. The chicken opens to hold all of the eggs inside of it, whether or not the eggs are put together.
