This is an excellent gift for a toddler. It is very interactive, indestructible, and easy to pack up at night. She used it every day over the holidays and on the flight home.

I can’t tell you how many busy books I have picked up, but this is one of the nicest, well executed, and highest quality ones I have gotten. So many of the busy books lately require adult assembly by putting self adhesive velcro ‘dots’ on the loose parts and in the book itself but not this one. Here the velcro is sewn on, so no assembly and no velcro dots falling off. The book itself has cute and colorful illustrations and there are a lot of ‘moving parts’ to spark my grandson’s imagination. Typical of most busy books, this has zippers, buckles, buttons, laces, etc to help develop fine motor skills. A bonus in my book is that this busy book doesn’t have an overabundance of parts too lose, unlike some others I have, which is a game changer in the car. More important than anything, my grandson (2 YO) loves it and will just go over to play with it in the middle of his day. This is worth the price and will make a great gift for a 2-4 year old.

13-Learn to pulled strings in and out from each end.
14-Learn to use a string to make things slide left and right (like a clothesline).
15-Learn how elastic works. It makes things snap back in place.
16-Learn to solve a puzzle by matching the shapes to the outlines.
17-Learn to clean up after playing by snapping the book closed again.
This provides quality time between Parents and Baby as they teach her/him to use the items in the book. Baby feels a sense of accomplishment as he/she masters each task.
Our toddler loves this book! He plays with it in the car and when he goes on outings.
It holds so many activities in a compact soft book that is easily carried in your bag.

Such a lovely quality book.

This is cute and babies love pulling the items off that are velcroed on. Just watch because a few items fit entirely in the mouth. If they are using on their own pull these off for safety,

My Grandson loves it! A great purchase!

I bought this for my 1 year old. He takes off the pieces and throw them around. He also likes to walk around and collect them. I put the pieces back throughout the day so he can do it again, keeps him busy. He knows the pockets so he’ll put some pieces in and take them back out, he’ll try to find pieces that I put behind the door and he just figured out how to open and close the zipper. Even though he doesn’t know how to put all pieces back, it will come overtime with repetition. So anyone hesitant because they feel their baby is too young, I think should buy because it will pay off in the in. It’s a learning process.

My 1.5 year old loves to play with

My 19 months old daughter loved her dinosaur book. She likes to take dinosaurs out and carry them around, she also plays with the fun things inside, so it keeps her busy for a good while. Quality is good, will be getting the farm next. I wish they had more variations.

We recently got a similar book with farm animals as a gift for my nephew and absolutely loved it. So when we saw the dinosaurs we decided to get it for our daughter, thinking it would be similar to the farm animals, just dinosaurs. While this book is very cute and sturdy, there's a mixture of velcro, snaps, and pull strings making it so the book must be put back together in the same fashion. The farm book was all velcro so kids could decide which animals to put where and such. This one is more specific. It also has some more advanced skills in it such as zippers, buttons with elastic, and shoestrings for tying or beading. I still think our daughter will find it enjoyable, I'm just worried she may get frustrated with having to put things back in specific places to make them fit properly.

I ordered this for a 16month old and like it for multiple reasons:
-First of all, it’s a great size for little ones- not too big, not too small, making it easy to hold and carry
-it’s a step up from the soft, crinkly “baby books”… it offers more rigidity and is is held and used like a normal book, but is still super soft and safe for little hands (and, inevitably, mouths)
-the colors and graphics are engaging
-it offers “activities” to help develop and promote fine motor skills, some a bit more difficult than others to grow with your child
All in all, this has been a fun and useful addition to our collection and we love it. Would make a great gift as well!

Great on the go entertainment for babies
My baby is 14 months old and was immediately drawn to this book. It is very well made with nice and bright colors and images. It has several dinosaurs stitched onto it as well as a few removable pieces. I think the quality matches the products value
