Montessoridays™ Interlocking Building Blocks · 150 Pieces

🔺 A flat shape can become something much bigger.

The Montessoridays™ Interlocking Building Blocks bring 150 square and triangular pieces into a construction collection. Children can explore how the parts join, arrange colours and turn a simple connection into an original structure.

Montessoridays™ Interlocking Building Blocks · 150 Pieces — play and product details

🖐️ Discover how two pieces meet.

Start with a small selection and demonstrate the intended connection. Let your child separate and rejoin the pieces before expecting a model. Understanding how the components hold together gives the next building idea a practical foundation.

👀 Compare the shapes in the growing design.

A square and triangle offer different edges and possibilities. Ask which piece might work next and leave time for a trial. An arrangement that needs support can be changed, giving the child visible information about the structure they are making.

🤝 Two builders can share one plan.

The 150-piece collection leaves room for a shared project. Children can choose colours, pass a needed shape or agree which part each person will make. An adult can help with a difficult connection while leaving the design choices with the builders.

💛 A rebuild is another idea beginning.

Made from ABS plastic, the set is intended for ages three and up. Triangular pieces measure approximately 2.95 × 2.24 inches and squares approximately 2.16 × 2.16 inches. Supervise play and gather the blocks afterwards; tomorrow's creation can use the same pieces in a completely different way.

Why Buy Montessori?

🔺 Shapes become structural choices.

The child can compare what different pieces contribute to a build. Start with an idea the child can describe, then let the pieces help test it. A connection that needs adjusting gives a practical reason to inspect the shape. The structure can change as the plan develops, so building remains a conversation between the idea and the hands.

🖐️ Connecting has a visible purpose.

Separate parts become a larger arrangement through hand movement. A connection can change when the structure needs another approach.

🤝 Shared construction invites communication.

Builders can ask for pieces and agree on parts of a plan. The collection can follow the child's imagined design. Join a square and triangle before planning a larger structure. Examining the connection gives the child a repeatable building action. They can then choose how to extend it, test the shape and revise a section when the result differs from their idea.
Why Kids Love It?

🧩 The pieces link into something larger.

A few connections can change the whole shape. One connection can lead to a creature, a vehicle, or something completely invented. Their creation is allowed to change when a new idea arrives.

🎨 Colours can become part of their plan.

They choose the look of the build. The collection supports a shared creation.

💛 There is another possibility after taking it apart.

The same blocks can start a new design. Flat pieces can become an object with sides and corners they built themselves. The same collection can take a different shape when they separate a section and follow a new construction idea.

Easy to use

These are much easier to manipulate than larger waffle blocks. I use them with 3 year old nephew and pre k class. Great stem activity.

My kids are little builders these days and they approve this message/toy

We surprised our kids with this set of building blocks one rainy day (thank goodness we keep a little stash of new toys we can break out on days like these!). My two boys (almost 4 and 6..5) spend a TON of time playing with these, and continue to go back to them every evening after showers-- it's a very nice, calm, quiet time that happens naturally for us. I feel they offer a different sense of satisfaction, connecting them, compared to magnetic blocks, legos and other kinds of building blocks. Also great for travel since they are MUCH lighter than magnetic pieces and legos-- these pieces are thinner plastic and hollow inside. This set came with enough pieces for my two boys to build individually and eventually together too. They interlock well enough to stand up, and the pieces are the size advertised (not sure why some people thought they could be swallowed?!). The set came with a piece of paper with some suggested things you can build which was an interesting challenge for me to do with my kids. Overall I am happy with this.

Product itself is fine, but…

These blocks are great for my special needs daughter. The box was in tough shape and appeared to have been opened and returned. My daughter didn’t realize so not a huge deal, but I would’ve been disappointed if I was gifting to someone else.

You get what you pay for!

For a knockoffs they are okay I guess you get what you pay for. But at $27 I expect a little better quality. Some of the blocks weren’t cut correctly so they don’t all fit together.

perfect gift for toddlers

This is the toy that helps kids to sit and play for a long time. There are so many things that make these Mega Bloks amazing. This will help the toddler develop communication. it's something we can build together which I think is great in a product as it means everyone is having a good time. I highly recommend to younger children and toddlers.
