Montessoridays™ Safari Wooden Jigsaw Puzzles
🦒 Six safari friends, one small puzzle at a time.
The Montessoridays™ Safari Wooden Jigsaw Puzzles introduce giraffe, lion, tortoise, hippo, zebra and elephant shapes through six wooden puzzles. Each animal has three to eight pieces, offering a range of manageable projects for a child getting to know how a jigsaw comes together.
🧩 Start with fewer pieces and a familiar animal.
Choose a simple puzzle first and look at the outline together. Find a possible starting section, compare a colour or edge and let your child try the fit. A small selection makes it easier to see the next useful piece.
🖐️ Turn, compare and try another position.
Chunky pieces give the hands something to grasp and rotate. Colour and number clues on the back provide another reference when help is useful. Offer a clue before completing the connection for the child, leaving room for their own successful placement.
🐘 A finished shape gives the work a character.
Name the animal, talk about a feature or imagine where it is going. The recognisable outline turns the puzzle into something to introduce. A child may enjoy remaking a favourite before choosing a puzzle with more pieces, and that familiar practice can be part of the attraction.
💛 A gentle step into jigsaw play.
Recommended for ages three to six, the set comes in a hardcover storage box to keep the six animals together. Work alongside, keep each puzzle's pieces organised and notice the careful attempts as well as the finish. The next safari friend can wait until the little puzzler is ready for another challenge.

I got these for my 2.5 year old grandkid and they are very loved. The puzzles are thick, so no worries about her ripping them like she has done with the dollar store puzzles. It is perfect for little kids. The pieces are cute and match nicely. My 2yo loves them.
