This is very good for kids who are learning quantities. Item is very sturdy and durable. It is perfect for gifting for kids. I got it for my daughter and she loves playing with it.

We bought this for our grandson for Easter. He is fascinated by it. He just turned five hasn’t started kindergarten just yet and it’s helping him understanding better how to count and balance things.

I gifted it to a 5 year old boy and he loved it. They are really helpful and it makes counting fun. He really enjoyed playing with the monkeys I would have loved for the numbers to go higher up to 20 or have extra monkeys. Anyways I still loved the product and the price was good too.

My daughter played with it for a bit. She can assemble it herself but it does not seem durable it will break. Each number matches the weight for however many monkeys should go on the scale

Cards are flimsy-should be laminated. Nice to have a pouch or bag to keep the small pieces. Besides that, great learning tool.

As a teacher myself, I love to buy games that are educational. This is a wonderful game to practice counting and math. my ONLY complaint (reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is that once you put it together with the scales it doesn't fit back in the box without taking the scales off again and even then unless you take it all back apart (which is like 10 seconds) it won't fit back in the box. That part is annoying as a parent that likes to put things back where they belong and SHUT the box, haha! Overall, nice product...just needs a bigger box to be able to leave set up.

Works wonderfully and the kids love to practice counting the monkeys. They also unknowingly are adding numbers when they experiment with the weight of numbers vs bears. Seeing this at preschool age will make addition an easier concept when they are introduced to it (but it does easily cover this as well). If the scale is off, simply readjust the little arrow on his belly and start again. A 5 star product!

Good value and engaging

This toy is awesome! My 22-month-old and 4-year-old both love it. You can really tailor the experience to the appropriate skill level across a wide range. It’s best with an adult or much older kid setting up problems for kids this young. The only reasons I took off one star are because it can’t be stored in the original box once the balance is assembled, and there are only flimsy shipping bags for the monkeys and numbers. The second issue is that the weights inside the numbers rattle, making me a little concerned about durability.

Science and math center all in one, my students love this activity during center time. They’re grabbing for it before I can even place it on the table 😳

I dont understand why ppl are so picky... this is to teach math, simple... my son didn't even pay attention to the colors... he knew the number 3 plus 1 is 4 monkeys... the toy is used exactly what it's meant for, he's 5 and he figured that out... the cards are confusing but we simply don't have to use them... he did great and we even used different objects like hoe many monkeys does this key weight? and so on...

Was exactly as described by the seller. Was shipped and delivered very quickly! Very happy! It is very sturdy and I have used it with kids between 3-7 years old!

I like the concept as I think it is easier for a child to grasp mathematical concepts when they can physically add and subtract and then "check" their answers. I wish that the product were a little more sturdy, perhaps a wider base with more weight to the monkey. My grandson is not the most gentle and the monkey constantly tips over. It would be great if we could go all the way up to 20 instead of 19 but that is not the main issue. My grandson is learning as he plays.
