My granddaughter is 2 years old and she will sit there and undo and clip back together for a long time. She loves putting her toys in it and carries it around with her. It's a great little backpack. My son hasn't really messed with it yet since he's only 9m. But it's basically a big felt back. My husband is a big texture person and he can't touch it without gagging lol.
So if you have someone sensitive to textures beware. If not then this is great! I can fit my son's Contigo bottle and some snacks and easy a book or 2 in there. 👍👍

I really like everything about the backpack and can't wait to give it to my grandson.
So cute and super soft! I love all the features it has - buckles, zipper, buttons and the shapes and numbers on the over the shoulder straps.. Big enough to hold some diapers and a pack of to - go wipes. Or toys, a few small books or snacks. My only “complaint” is that one of the sides, the Velcro strip strap was already partly coming undone. It’s not a huge deal nor very noticeable but I noticed it immediately 😣
