Montessoridays™ Beads & Balance Stacking Game

🌈 A bead to thread, a pattern to build, another idea to try.

The Montessoridays™ Beads & Balance Stacking Game brings twenty-five wooden beads into a set for threading, stacking, model-building and pattern matching. A wooden stand and illustrated cards offer starting points, while the colours and shapes leave room for a child to invent an arrangement of their own.

Montessoridays™ Beads & Balance Stacking Game — product details 1

🪢 Begin with a single bead and a slow movement.

Show how the wooden-tipped string passes through a bead, then let your child try. Finding the opening and guiding the tip through gives their hands a clear little task. Start with a few pieces so the activity feels manageable before a longer sequence develops.

🧩 A card can provide the next challenge.

Eight double-sided cards offer sixteen patterns to explore. Look at one sequence together, choose the first matching bead and work along it at your child's pace. If a piece is different, compare it with the card and leave time for an adjustment.

🪵 Stack and build when the idea changes.

The wooden stand gives the beads another way to be arranged. Try a short stack, compare shapes or make a model that does not follow a card. Moving between guided patterns and open play lets the same pieces serve different interests within one session.

💛 Notice the careful part of the work.

Recommended for ages two to four, the set includes small beads and strings, so close adult supervision is important. Sit alongside, offer help with a difficult first movement and gather every piece afterwards. A finished thread or a carefully matched pattern gives your child something concrete to show: a small sequence their hands put together.

Why Buy Montessori?

🪢 Threading gives coordination a clear purpose.

Guiding a tip through an opening connects looking with a precise movement. Invite your child to choose the next bead and consider where it could go. Balance gives the placement a visible consequence, while a change in arrangement offers something to investigate. You can encourage a careful second attempt without taking over the construction.

🧩 A sequence can be built and checked.

Pattern cards provide a visible reference for the child's arrangement. The beads can be grouped or selected according to one noticeable quality.

🌱 The same material supports different invitations.

Threading, stacking and free arrangements leave room for changing interest. Ask where they started or which bead came next, and let them show you. Read a short card sequence together and select the first bead before adding another. Comparing colour, shape and order gives the hands a plan to follow. After exploring a supplied pattern, invite your child to choose a sequence for you to copy.

Why Kids Love It?

🪢 A bead slides onto the string.

A successful threading movement gives an immediate result. The next bead might be the one that changes everything. Choosing a colour and finding a place for it makes building the arrangement feel like their own small challenge.

🌈 They can choose the next colour.

A personal arrangement can grow one bead at a time. Finding the matching piece adds a little challenge.

💛 Their finished work is ready to show.

Celebrate the patient movements behind the sequence. Threading one bead gives them a beginning they can extend. They can make a favourite colour repeat, follow a picture or invent a pattern, watching a small selection of loose pieces become an arrangement they chose.

Good toy for developing fine motor skills

This toy has been very functional for developing fine motor skills. We purchased it when my son was 18 months old for supervised play. He enjoys putting the beads on the stacker as well as stringing them on the string. My son goes back to this toy daily and asks to play with it often. The colors are not too bright and I like that the toy is wooden.

Perfect 2 year old gift

This gift was given to a two year old. She was so excited to get it and started playing with the blocks immediately. She loved the shapes and colors. When ordering I picked the one that came with the storage area. So happy I did. It’s a super fun gift for anyone 2 and up. A great cost and perfect size. It fits on the shelf with no problem. Her little hands can pick it up and easily put the blocks on the spokes.

Bright colours and sturdy stand. My son has thrown the toy a few times already and it didn't break. I just felt that the lacing string provided with it could have been thicker in width.

Top Hit for my Granddaughter

My two year granddaughter loves this toy. She enjoys stringing the bright colored shapes and is now starting to follow the cards in placing the shapes on the appropriate poles. She plays with it almost every time she’s at my house and I can tell her comprehension and ability to follow along continues to grow.

Better than overpriced toys

I love Montessori toys because they require your child to actually think and problem solve. This is a great way for your little one to recognize colors and shapes while learning how to follow directions with the cards.

Multi level activities included

This is Montessori so I trusted it would be a good developmental toy. It starts off being a good eye hand coordination activity--just getting the "beads" on the pegs. We put the toy away for a few weeks and pulled it out later as our g.son was learning colors and shapes. We just named the shapes and colors as we put them on the pegs. He leaned on his own to start sorting--all one color on a peg or all one shape on a peg! There are also strings for variety; for threading the pieces. The next level will be using the enclosed cards to match to the pictures what shapes and colors we put on each peg. It is a good idea to put this away for a few weeks from time to time to keep the novelty alive and also watch the developmental stages of eye-hand coordination, sorting and matching. This is a great toy!

My grandson LOVES it!!

I think this is a great piece for 2 year olds to 3 year olds for stacking and as they get older or if they are more advanced at an early age they can utilize the cards. Also, the threading option makes it a twofer! Well made, love the box to hold everything and can stay relevant through several years

Nephew is pleased!

I wanted this toy for my 3 year old nephew so he could string beads and follow patterns. I was really surprised by the quality of this toy for the price. The beads are big, smooth, and sturdy. As a matter of fact, all of the wood pieces (box, sticks, and beads) are smooth and sanded well. I'm very happy with it and my nephew is having a great time playing with it.

Cute toy for toddlers

This is my go to gift, that I have bought for many of my friends with toddlers, including my own. It keeps them busy and it’s great for travel or restaurant dinners, especially if you are trying to avoid giving your kids screens. It’s wood so it’s not bad for the environment, like the majority of toddlers toys and the edges are soft, so no worry of splinters or cuts from a wood product

Great Educational Toy!

This was a fantastic Christmas gift for my two-year-old nephew. His parents were also happy that the gift was educational as well - it also helps tremendously with hand/eye coordination! Not to mention learning colors, shapes, stacking and patterns. Very durable as well.

Perfect for learning

My toddler is struggling with her colors, and this is the perfect way to teach her colors and shapes. She pays attention and she’s able to follow the patterns and she also has fun while learning.
