Montessoridays™ Wooden Weather Station

🌦️ What is happening outside today?

The Montessoridays™ Wooden Weather Station brings a familiar daily question into hands-on play. Its colourful display and interactive elements give children a place to represent what they notice, turning a glance out of the window into a small shared observation.

👀 Look first, then choose.

Begin with the real sky rather than a quiz at the board. Is the ground wet? Are clouds covering the sun? Talk about one detail your child can actually see, then help them use the station to match their observation. Different answers can lead to another look together.

🖐️ A dial makes the report their own.

Let your child move the interactive parts at their own pace. Choosing a setting gives little hands a practical role in the conversation. You can name the weather while they adjust the display, without expecting them to understand every feature at once.

🌈 Return tomorrow and notice a change.

Place the station somewhere suitable for a supervised daily check. The weather may look very different the next morning—or remain much the same. Comparing today with yesterday gives words such as sunny, cloudy and rainy a connection to lived experience.

💛 Your smallest weather presenter is on air.

Invite a short pretend forecast for a favourite toy or another family member. Designed for ages two and up, the wooden-framed station is a learning display rather than a measuring instrument. It offers a cheerful starting point for noticing the world and deciding together what the day outside might feel like.
