I saw these somewhat similar at my son’s speech therapy (vehicles theme) so I decided to buy a different one. It keeps both my son and daughter engage and helps them with motor skillls. The best part about buying these is the service. One of the wooden toys didn’t have a hole so I emailed the owner. She sent new ones right away.

Great quality, my baby loved it!

The beads and laces are of good quality. The "needle" is sharp. I had to sand down and seal to reduce injury risk.

The beads are quite nice, a lightweight smooth wood with nice clear images and smooth holes for threading a silky ribbon through. Compared to plain beads, these are a little on the larger size at around 1"-2" overall and about 3/4" thick. My 3 yr old granddaughter has loved playing with these. What makes this set even more special are the laces! They are a silky type lace securely attached to a wooden 'needle". While regular shoelaces would work just as well for threading the beads, she really enjoyed using the 'needle' through the holes. I'm really pleased with this set. Highly recommend adding to your grandparent toy box!

Vibrant colors, lots of variety, and solid design. My kiddo loves these, and they delight the adults in the house too! Wooden “needles” are permanently attached to the cords.

My 18 month old granddaughter loves this toy. It is teaching her so much. Colors, shapes, animal, fruit, vegetable names on top of learning to thread. She brings me the item before she tries to string it so I can tell her what it is, and if it's an animal we try to make the animal sound. My 3 year old grandson likes this also, just not as much as my granddaughter. He will sit with us and thread the 'beads' and he likes to tell me what his item is. I wish I had this for him when he was younger! I will be looking to see what other items like this I can get for them for Christmas.

Adorable. Painted with cute characters an just the right size for little fingers to hold and thread.

Great fun for 2 1/2 -4 year old toddlers. Create necklaces and take apart a few minutes later when your style changes! Great activity for small motor development and it’s easily supervised. Stories can be created for each sequence of beads/characters. I recommend getting at least 1 set per child /student participating in the craft session.

I dislike the fact that the stings did not have not have knots on the end to catch the beads. I like the fact that many of the beads fit on one string. I like the fact that most of the pictures are true to life. My grand children like playing with them.

I love this bead set. It has wooden sticks at the end of each string that make it easier for little fingers to thread a bead onto the string. The other end of each string has a tip (like the end of a shoelace) that allows for another practice of fine motor skills as the tip is thinner than the stick and takes a bit more concentration and skill than the wooden ends. I like that it has both types of ends as each type provides a different fine motor practice skill. The beads are beautiful. colorful, smooth, nice size hole. Each bead is another shape. Some are animals, some are foods. Having cute beads makes beading so much more enjoyable and turns a skill building activity into a really fun activity. I am really happy that I chose this set.

The pieces are painted wood (I’m not sure if they meet the lead standard or not...but can’t be helped). Aside from that, string toys are always a win. They help with fine motor and problem solving. He still can’t string it completely by himself, maybe bc the stick is thin? He definitely tries. I usually start it for him and ask him to pull, lol. But we’ll get there. It comes with 4 strings and the pieces are all in my picture. We like it though.

Excellent quality toy! My 18 month old grandson loves it!

She likes it and would like to play. I love to see her concentrate on playing this. The only issue is you have to be aside in case they hurt themselves with the stick. It is a good way to train the hand-eye coordination. I am not a fun of the pictures and color design. The design could have been cuter.

This is my son’s (1year) favorite toy!! He dumps them all out and feeds us the food items lol.

I recently purchased several open-ended wooden toys/activities for my son, and this is by far his favorite one. First and foremost, the little wooden blocks are painted nicely and well made. They’re the perfect size for little hands. This isn’t just a stringing activity, it’s also a great toy for teaching categories, counting, and endless other possibilities.

This was one of the best gifts my toddler received! She couldnt put them down and hardly wanted to open another gift! She strung them again and loved doing it herself, she is almost 2. When she opened the gift she immediately started taking them out one by one from the ziploc bag they came in and into the outer cloth pouch to carry them in. Theyre good quality and I think will last a long play life! The colors and pictures are great and there are a good number of pieces for her to be creative with but not so many to overwhelm her toybox! I bought another set for my niece & her mom gave the same review to me!
