When I was young we always had a cloth advent calendars, so I was happy to get this for my grandsons to keep the tradition going.
I've been looking for a Christmas tree advent calendar like this for a while now. I sew, so I had intended to make one. With a toddler and a baby, that was not going to happen! I found this and it fit the bill, quite literally! It came missing one ornament. I plan to make an ornament to fit in that spot. It also came with a chintzy pom pom as one of the ornaments.. I also plan to replace that one with homemade ornament. I have to say, even with its small faults, I am happy I didn't have to make the entire thing from scratch, and I am excited to at least make two custom ornaments for this calendar! As other reviewers mentioned, it did come folded up. I ironed mine on the highest setting on my iron. I started out low and on the back side just to be on the safe side. It turns out you can go all the way to the highest setting and iron it from the front side. Now it lies perfectly flat. Nothing melted not even the velcro! My iron had no water in it. I don't suggest adding water to your iron if you plan to iron it.

My kids (7&8) love this! It's actually really big. We did have one piece of velcro come off but it was an easy fix. Super cute, would buy again.
