Montessoridays™ Creative LCD Drawing Tablet

My 2 yr old can be rough with his toys. This looked like something that would be fun for him to play. I liked the idea that he could draw without worrying about him coloring the walls or furniture. When I opened it up with him for Christmas, my first thought was "this will only last a week at most". The light-weightedness of this pad felt cheap. It has been almost 2 months and it still works great. It has been knocked onto the floor, thrown, and stepped on countless times and is still functioning normal with no visible signs of damage or scratches. If and when this item does kick the bucket, and if the price is still reasonable, I will purchase another one!

My toddler niece loves to color and draw, and I love to not have marker and crayon all over my furniture and walls. I got her this as a Christmas present and she spent 5 hours playing with it. When she figured out how to use the erase button she was so excited she had to show it to everyone in the house. It's easy to use, mess free and endlessly stimulating. My one bit of criticism is that pulling out the battery to replace it is very difficult. I appreciate that no child will accidently do it, but as an adult with a screwdriver and other tools at my disposal it was next to impossible. Despite that I still plan on getting a second one so she can leave it at my place for when she comes over.

We like that it is not electronic. Our toddler (age 2) loves to draw and we like to encourage that. We even enjoyed playing with it. The only thing that I don't care for, is I fear it being left on the floor and being stepped on however it is still going strong so far. The stencil pen attaches on top to hold it in place, it did have one side break off but it is still holding the pen so far. I like it. It is colorful and encourages creativity. Everyone who has tried it from age 1- 73 in our family likes playing with it. When someone else is playing with it our toddler loves to come up and hit the button to clear the screen and laugh. My only regret is that I didn't buy one for the other little ones in our family. Good value for the money. When I first opened it I thought it was cheap looking but I soon changed my mind when I saw her interact with it. It is light weight and we take it with us in the car, to Bible study, doctor's appointments, ball games.

Got this for my friend’s daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loved it! It’s really easy to use and I love the locking feature so you don’t have to worry about them working really hard on a picture and then accidentally erasing it. It’s also easy enough for my friend’s three year-old to lock and unlock on her own. She was very entertained just drawing squiggles and then pressing the button to make it all disappear, exclaiming, “I did it!” It’s also pretty durable. My friend’s daughter slung this thing around and dragged it on the floor and it stood up to the abuse.

This is super lightweight but not flimsy. The stylus connects on with a stretchy band and has a clip so it’s not hanging off when not in use. It’s colorful and comes with an extra battery. There’s a lock feature so it cannot be erased, which I did not know at first and thought it couldn’t erase and was broken. At the push of the button, the whole picture erases, not left with residue of the last picture like some drawing toys do. This is just a fun little toy to play with.

Ok this is pretty cool. It’s just a very simple thing but it’s fun to use. I love that it already comes with a battery inside the tablet for immediate use (not fun having to hunt down the batteries and then unscrew and so on when you just want to have at it) and an extra battery for whenever the first one expires. I’ll be honest I just got this thing for my kid, so I have no idea how long the battery will last but seems minor. I got this for a three year old and he’s not the gentlest of kids so again not sure how long it can withstand constant abuse, might have to edit this later. But so far so good. A nice change of pace and zero clean up for mom and dad.

So this was another one of my 2 year olds bday purchase that I love more than him. He seems a little unamused by it. He’s in that stage where he just wants so much more, but I am sure he’ll circle back at some point. I’ll admit, I haven’t taken the time to understand how it works (lol) but an eraser pen would b great to clean up sharp edges or to help create effects. CS seems pretty cool. An extra battery was included and apparently they give a couple years of free battery replacement which is pretty awesome. Only real con (worth taking off a star but I personally don’t care as much) is that kid ripped pen off string immediately so unless I clip everything back immediately, pen will get lost :-/

I purchased this for my 5 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it. She took it everywhere with her. It's very lightweight. There's a lanyard that can connect to the stylus, but she asked me to take it off after maybe 5-10 minutes of use because it was restricting. There is a 2nd battery in the packaging, but we didn't need it yet. It's been 2 months and the 1st battery still works to quickly clear the screen. The lock feature works well, but for a 5-year-old, we don't use it much =) The only thing that I don't like is that the rainbow color in that comes up when you write isn't as bright as I was hoping for. The color is still impressive for a toy.

This was the best thing I have ever bought! I got this for my son who is turning 4. He is a big fan of arts crafts and loves to draw. I got tired of wasting paper because he scribbles here and there on a paper and throws it away. This has been so cool for me and him to see and use because he can literally press one button and erase his work and start over. He enjoys the colors with it too! He loves how the colors mix with each stroke but are also separate at the same time. If you have a little artist in the making, this is the perfect gift!

It's perfect... What else can I say... This is a perfect product and I am not getting paid to say it. Light big bright colors and fun colors easy to use good price and my daughter didn't hold tablet in her hands yet since she got thiswritting tablet she keeps on doodling and writing letters and drawing cats and daddy and me. 5 yo.
I sincerely wanna buy this for myself lololol.
no seriously I might this pad is so nice for notes... Ahhh well it's on my Christmas list

Bought 3 of these for a road trip for my 2 year old, 3 year old and 10 year old, should have bought 5, cause man on man were they a hit an my 1 year old and 13 year old kept fighting the other kids to take turns. They are super light weight and amazing to use. The erase feature is awesome, kids treat it like magic. Was way more fun for them to draw with this than normal paper and crayons and white boards are just no fun. They came with an extra battery for the erase feature also, which is so convenient! Will be buying more of these as gifts!!!

My son is 3 years old and his motor skills are kicking in quickly. My son can easily draw shapes, doodle, and simply erase everything with a simply push of a button. It is an amazing writing tablet and I feel every young child should have one of these. We practice doing shapes, numbers, letters, animals, and more. My son loves this thing and he uses it almost every single day. With my busy life and my wife also being so busy sometimes this is a way better alternative to keep my son occupied. TV Child shows and Youtube educational shows are great but this tablet is a even better. This tablet is way more convenient versus using pens and papers. No need to worry about your child drawing on walls or anything because the pen only works on the tablet. We have had this tablet for awhile now and the battery it comes with is still going strong. Love this tablet. I even catch my self drawing on it and doodling. Amazing product that I personally highly recommend.

My 5year old absolutely LOVES his new writing tablet. It is plenty colorful and he is enjoying it VERY much. I love how I do not have to keep buying a ton of copy paper which ends up getting thrown away and creating trash. Even though this does have plastic, the amount of paper (and tree) saved is 100% worth it to me.
If and when this does wear out, which I do NOT see being anytime soon, I will buy this exact model again. And for those saying the little strap for the pen does not fit, it absolutely does. You just have to pinch the end of the loop first, before pushing it through the opening on the device (and then loop it back through itself to secure. I recommend attaching the PEN to the cord first, and then attaching to the tablet.

My 4yr old uses it to draw and practice her writing. It keeps her busy and because it's thin and lightweight, I can easily carry it around in my purse. We've had it for 2 months now and have already had to put in a new battery (it comes with a battery replacement). It may be because we used it daily but I assume I'll have to order more batteries in the future. It's also very durable. My daughter has dropped it and used other toys instead of the stencil it comes with, to make drawing and there's been no scratches or cracks.

My 4 (now 5) and 6 year old love these.
My 5 year old is constantly asking me how to spell things while driving so she can write on her color pad better than her older brother.
It keeps them busy for a little while on errands.
The only thing I would say is a negative is that the pen cord is very cheap. I'm thinking about looking for a relaxant strap for when it breaks (sent it back once for a replacement within a few days).
But I'm still giving it 5 stars as it really is cute and my kids love it.
I also have left in it my van (in Illinois) so far with no issues during the spring, will have to see how it does this summer and winter. Hoping to keep it in my van year round.

I bought this for my two-year-old grandson because he was always stealing his sisters’. I like the way the pen locks into the board and even with his little hands he was able to grasp it and draw. While my five-year-old uses it to write her alphabet and numbers, the little one uses it more for scribbling and drawing. Great portable toy for the little ones!

Just received this today, and I'm already impressed. It seems like it will be loads of fun, not really sure how it works but it's pretty cool. The only thing I misunderstood was you can't choose the color, but the device is colorful. When you draw it is multicolored, but not by your choosing. Either way for the price it'll be loads of fun. I wish there were two more colors to choose from so I could have one for each of our six children without fighting, if you know what I mean.

This is an Xmas present so I didn't get to use it long (I only got to play during my toddlers nap) but it was easy to figure out and really does write nice and the best part actually there are 2 of those.. 1. It comes with a cord to attach to pad and then also pen!! And B. It comes with extra battery! Once she opens it and plays for a while if I need to adjust anything in here I will, but I'm thinking we will be ok.

I bought several types of these to test out before giving them to our kids and these are the ones we decided to keep! I love the color display and the erase button is an actual button they have to click so they wont accidentally tap something and erase their work. The screen is a perfect size for using in the car (our kids are still in carseats) and my most favorite part is it comes with an extra battery (awesome!) AND a stretchy cord to attach the pen to the tablet - NONE of the other brands have this. I knew I could not be trying to pick up pens from the floor while driving down the highway over and over so this was the decision maker.

I like the fact that you can flip a little switch to keep it from erasing as you pass it to someone. It’s bright enough for my needs. The battery comes with for instant use. light weight and survives my multiple daily drops. everyone that sees it wants one, grown *** adults! Lol. It’s so simple and so functional. The color I received is turquoise. I would have liked to pick my color, but it’s easily spotted when set down so it’s a plus.

Got this for my almost 3yr old. He really likes it. He's using it to learn how to draw mostly.

Bought this for our granddaughter who is coming to visit and for the long 2-day drive back home. Perfect for her learning to write (she's 1-1/2) and draw pictures. It's so easy to use, lightweight for her to use in the car, and also important -- NOT MESSY!!! Colors are fun and love that there is a lanyard enclosed to attach the stylus to the tablet. The string for the lanyard is stretchy, so it can reach everywhere, plus there is a clip you can place anywhere on the tablet to store the stylus when you're done. The erase feature is AWESOME!!! Works perfectly, as does the lock feature. LOVED that it came with an extra battery -- that was a huge bonus and a totally unexpected surprise! My husband tried it out and loved it so much, I need to get another one for him so our granddaughter can use this one! Total hit -- would definitely purchase more for other uses.

I purchased this as a gift for a child who loves rainbows and colors! It was a big hit. My plan was for this to be used to doodle/play and also for school purposes. This is a great tool for practicing letter formation and writing spelling/high frequency words. It will be much more fun than regular pencil and paper! It was locked upon arrival and took me a minute to realize why it was not erasing- so check the lock. The only thing I noticed is the colors seemed a little softer and I have not seen much red- my board is more blues/greens/purples/yellows. It is still lovely and super fun!

I love the rainbow colors that come out when you write with it! The pen is also great. You can draw a very thin line and a thicker line to make things look different. When you touch it with your hand, palm, or your finger nothing happens so you don't mess up what you're writing or drawing. You can replicate the same drawing effect of the pen it comes with using your fingernail or another pointed object.
I got the yellow and it's a little brighter yellow than I thought it would be from the picture. The picture looks a little more pastel and this is bright primary yellow. Its a great tablet for drawing and writing and it erases really well and also has an erase lock if you don't want to accidentally erase your drawing.
