About Montessori Days
Montessori Days · Our story
Small discoveries. Every day.
Toys to grow with. Space to explore. A little more wonder in the everyday.

Meet the founder
Camellia, founder of Montessori Days
A mother’s perspective. A lifelong commitment to learning.
Camellia is a Stanford University graduate, a mother of three and the founder of Montessori Days. Her work has long centered on Montessori education—and on giving children space to discover what they can do for themselves.
In 2021, she founded Montessori Days to bring that belief into everyday family life through thoughtful, hands-on play. Motherhood adds a personal meaning to the work: an appreciation for small discoveries, patient practice and the joy of watching a child try something new.
Since then, Montessori Days has served more than 500,000 happy customers. To Camellia, the meaning behind that number is the families it represents—and the chance to be a small part of children’s everyday exploration and growth.
Helping families make room for those moments gives her a deep sense of purpose. It is work she finds fulfilling, joyful and a genuine pleasure to keep building.

Our point of view
Play doesn’t need to be complicated.
A shape to turn. A line to draw. A small challenge to try again. We believe these ordinary moments deserve a place in a child’s day.
Our approach takes inspiration from Montessori ideas of independence, purposeful activity and learning through doing. You don’t need a perfect playroom or a lesson plan to begin—just an activity that suits your child today.
Montessori-inspired describes our approach. It does not mean every item is a traditional Montessori material or carries a Montessori certification.
What guides us
Thoughtful play, with room to grow.
Hands-on discovery
Drawing, sorting, building and exploring put children in the middle of the activity.
A child’s own pace
Room to repeat, experiment and find another way, without turning play into a race.
Everyday possibilities
Activities that make sense for the moments and spaces families already have.
Start small. Follow their curiosity.
Choose one activity that matches your child’s age and interests. Offer a little guidance, leave room for exploration and enjoy seeing what happens next.
Always follow the product’s age guidance and safety instructions, and supervise play appropriately.
We’re here for the grown-ups, too.
