Montessoridays™ Wooden Color Memory Chess
🎲 Can you remember where that colour was hiding?
The Montessoridays™ Wooden Color Memory Chess turns hidden peg colours into a family matching game. Twenty-four wooden pegs, a colour die and a round board offer a simple invitation to look, remember and take another turn. Despite its name, this is a colour-memory game rather than traditional chess.
👀 Have a look before the colours disappear.
Explore a few pegs with your child and notice the coloured ends. Place them in the board so the colours are hidden, then try recalling a position. Start with a small selection if a full board feels like too much to remember.
🎲 Let the die suggest the next search.
Use the colour die to choose a target and take turns looking for a match. Agree the rules before beginning, keeping them simple for new players. A peg that reveals a different colour gives everyone another detail to remember.
🤝 A family game can be friendly and flexible.
The game is described for two to six players. You can play cooperatively, help a younger child remember or follow a more competitive version when everyone is comfortable. The shared looking and laughter matter more than who finds the most pegs.
💛 Another round begins with a new arrangement.
Intended for ages three and up, the wooden set needs supervision with the pegs and die. Change the positions to create another memory challenge, then gather the pieces after play. A friendly pace leaves room for everyone to enjoy the next search.

Great family game testing your memory. It’s awesome for all ages! Small enough to travel with! Definitely recommend! Great value and well made!
I bought 3 of these, one for me, my mom and my 9year old niece. We are all quarantining because of Covid-19. Over FaceTime we all 3 play together. We make up rules similar to the one’s given and all play together. We all 3 love it!!! I recommend this game for all ages that suggested. Lots of fun!!
Two Grandsons, both 6, learned the game quickly & enjoy playing it by themselves or with a partner. Practices good memory skills.
The person I gave this to was very happy with the style, the fit of the pegs, the bright colors on the die & pegs.
My two 6 year old grandchildren loved this! We had to make them stop playing to come to eat cookies! Well made, sturdy and easily understood the rules. Good purchase!
Received game and quality is ok. Nowhere on the box does it say who it is made by (MoDuer?), but it is obviously from China. Within a few days of placing my order, the price went up by $3. Would I order again - maybe but for $3 more... No.
